SVSU Health Brochure Series

 

Concept

The Saginaw Valley State University Health Brochures are a series of two brochures that complement one another while still retaining a separate identity. The intent behind this project was to emulate the feel of a prominent Graphic Designer. Choosing David Carson, I sought a fun and quirky combination to assist in capturing the attention of readers in regard to the health-related content. I experimented with type in various combinations and arrangements, to the push the boundary of design and capture the audience’s attention. Bright, bold colors were chosen to coincide with this and to reflect the many, bright colors of the featured foods in the brochure's content. A triangular fold on the brochure covers, was implemented for a unique component, and to further establish an innovative brochure that defies notions of a traditional pamphlet.
